Data Deletion Policy

Planara respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your account and associated data.
1. Deleting Your Account
You may request deletion of your Planara account at any time.
Once your account is deleted:
- Your personal profile information will be removed
- Financial data you entered will be permanently deleted
- Household associations will be removed
- Access to the Planara service will end immediately
Deleted data cannot be recovered.
2. How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion in the following ways:
Option 1 - From Within the App
Navigate to:
Settings -> Data & Security -> Data Deletion Request
Follow the instructions to confirm your request.
Option 2 - Email Request
You may also request deletion by emailing:
Please include:
- The email address associated with your Planara account
- A request stating that you want your account deleted
3. Processing Time
Deletion requests are typically processed within 7 days.
Some system backups may persist temporarily but will be automatically removed according to our retention policies.
4. Household Accounts
If you are part of a household:
- Your membership in that household will be removed
- Data associated with your personal account will be deleted
- Shared household data created by other members may remain for those users
5. Legal Retention
In rare cases we may retain limited information if required by law, fraud prevention, or security purposes.
